I wanted to get better at texturing and UV mapping, so I decided to pursue this fun concept of renaissance era still life paintings with a little modern twist I had in my idea list for a while. While working on the series I tried to do a lot of research and stay as close to reality as possible – both visually and historically – it’s not 100%, but hopefully close enough! The series took around 300hrs from start to finish and was done between April and September 2020.
